Och-Ziff Capital Management Group LLC (Och-Ziff) is an institutional alternative asset manager. Och-Ziff funds seek to generate consistent, positive, absolute returns across market cycles with low volatility compared to the equity markets. The Company serves the investment needs of a diversified institutional base, providing asset management services through its funds, which pursue a range of global investment opportunities. It conducts all of its operations through its single segment: the Och-Ziff Funds segment, which provides asset management services to its hedge funds and other alternative investment vehicles. Other Operations consist of real estate business, which provides asset management services to its real estate funds, and investments in businesses. Its primary investment strategies are convertible and derivative arbitrage, credit, long/short equity special situations, merger arbitrage, private investments and structured credit.
