Company Information
Manitok Energy Inc. (Manitok), formerly Desco Resources Inc. is an oil and gas exploration and development company focusing on conventional oil and gas reservoirs in the Canada and heavy crude oil in east-central Alberta. Manitok has approximately 35 potential drilling locations, targeting a variety of reservoir types, on its existing undeveloped land base of 81,343 net acres. Manitok was a capital pool company. On July 8, 2010, the Company completed the amalgamation between Desco Resources Inc. (Desco) and Manitok Exploration Inc. The Amalgamation constituted the Company's qualifying transaction. On April 5, 2012, the Company disposed of its entire working interest in its heavy oil assets (Assets) in the Swimming area of Alberta.
