Company Information
Inter Pipeline Fund (Inter Pipeline) is a limited partnership engaged in petroleum transportation, natural gas liquids extraction, and bulk liquid storage business. It has four segments. The oil sands transportation business has three pipeline systems that transport petroleum products, and provide related blending and handling services in northern Alberta. The three pipeline systems include the Cold Lake, Corridor and Polaris pipeline systems. The NGL extraction business includes processing natural gas to extract natural gas liquids (NGLs), including ethane and a mixture of propane, butane and pentanes plus. The conventional oil pipelines business is engaged in the transportation, storage and processing of hydrocarbons. The bulk liquid storage business activity comprises storage and handling of bulk liquid products through the operation of eight deep water bulk liquid storage terminals. In January 2012, the Company acquired four petroleum storage terminals in Denmark.
