Company Information
International Forest Products Limited (Interfor) is a producer of wood product. The Company produces Western Red Cedar, Appearance and Specialty products, Western Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Ponderosa Pine and Lodgepole Pine. As of December 31, 2011, the Company had operations in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon, including two sawmills in the Coastal region of British Columbia., three in the British Columbia. Interior, two in Washington and two in Oregon. The Company also operates a remanufacturing facility in Washington. The products range from commodity structural lumber through to specialty products, such as exterior decking and siding, machine stress rated products, industrial timbers and a range of appearance grade items. As of December 31, 2011, the Company's sawmilling operations had a combined manufacturing capacity of approximately 1.65 billion board feet of lumber. On January 5, 2011 Seaboard Shipping Company Limited became a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company.
