Elemental Minerals Limited is engaged in the exploration and development of potash resources in the Republic of Congo. It has mining and exploration activity in Australia and Central Africa. The Company holds a 93% indirect, beneficial interest in the Sintoukola Project through its partly-held subsidiary, Sintoukola Potash S.A. It holds an exclusive exploration license comprising 1,436.5 square kilometers. The main focus of exploration has been on the Kola deposit in the northeastern part of the project area. By February 2011, the Phase 1 drilling program was completed after a total of 16 diamond holes for 6,577 meters were drilled (over an area of approximately seven kilometers by three kilometers) in the Kola area. It also owns the Forrestania iron and nickel project in Western Australia, which holds two exploration licenses between the Southern Cross and Lake Johnston nickel-gold fields. The Company's subsidiaries include Sirocco Resources Limited and Sintoukola Potash S.A.
