Dundee Real Estate Investment Trust (the Trust) is an open-ended investment trust. The Trust's portfolio comprises office and industrial properties located across Canada. As of December 31, 2011, its total gross leasable area was 18.9 million square feet. As of December 31, 2011, its ownership interests included 118 office properties (134 buildings) comprising 15.3 million square feet located in Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Yellowknife, Saskatoon, Regina, Toronto, Kitchener-Waterloo, Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax. As of December 31, 2011, its industrial portfolio included 54 prime suburban industrial properties (57 buildings). In March 2012, the Trust acquired Whiterock Real Estate Investment Trust. In October 2012, KEYreit acquired three retail properties from companies affiliated with the Trust, and it sold 77 industrial properties to Dundee Industrial Real Estate Investment Trust REIT.
