Company Information
Canadian Zinc Corporation (Canadian Zinc), is exploration stage company. The Company is primarily engaged in the exploration, development and permitting of its Prairie Creek Mine property (Prairie Creek). As of December 31, 2011, the Company held a 100% interest in the Prairie Creek Mine property located in the Northwest Territories, Canada. The Company's principal focus is exploration and development of the Prairie Creek Property, a zinc/lead/silver deposit with adjacent mill and infrastructure facilities, located approximately 500 kilometers west of Yellowknife in the Mackenzie mountain range that locally has an average relief of approximately 300 meters and consists low mountains with moderate to steep sides and intervening narrow valleys, at an elevation of 850 meters above mean sea level.
