Company Information
Boralex Inc. (Boralex) is an electricity producer whose business is the development and operation of renewable energy power stations. Boralex operates assets with a total installed capacity of nearly 500 megawatts in Canada, in the Northeastern United States and in France. It operates in four power generation types: wind, hydroelectric, thermal and solar. As of December 31, 2011, Boralex operated a 251 megawatts wind power portfolio in Europe and Canada. Boralex owns three thermal power stations with a total installed capacity of 80 megawatts, including two natural gas cogeneration power stations totaling 45 megawatts and a 35 megawatts wood-residue power station. located near Gold Bridge, British Columbia. In October 2012, the Company acquired 22 megawatts run of the river hydroelectric project (the Project) located near Gold Bridge, British Columbia.
