Allied Properties Real Estate Investment Trust is a closed-end real estate investment trust that owns, manages and develops urban office environments for business tenants operating in Canada. In February 2012, it acquired certain properties and disposed of its interest in 67 Richmond Street West in Toronto. In April 2012, it acquired 535 Yates Street in Victoria, The Woodstone Building in Calgary, 57 Spadina Avenue, 78 Spadina Avenue, 80-82 Spadina Avenue, 379 Adelaide Street West, 383 Adelaide Street West properties, 5445 de Gaspe Avenue, and sold 163-167 Garry Street in Winnipeg. In August 2012, it acquired the Class I Office Complex in Kitchener. In October 2012, the Company acquired Chamber of Commerce Building in Calgary. In November 2012, the Company closed the acquisitions of 1040 Hamilton Street and 1286 Homer Street in Vancouver and acquisition of the Demcor Building in Calgary.
