Acadian Mining Corporation is an exploration-stage company. The Company focuses on exploration and development of its portfolio of gold properties in Nova Scotia, totaling approximately 43,000 hectares. The Company's principal efforts with respect to gold are focused on exploring and developing its two potential bulk tonnage-open pit deposits: Fifteen Mile Stream and Beaver Dam, and to a lesser extent on its other gold properties, including Beaver Dam, Forest Hill, Goldenville, Tangier and Fifteen Mile Stream. The Company's subsidiaries include Annapolis Properties Corp., 6179053 Canada Inc., 6927629 Canada Corp. and Royal Roads Corp. As of December 31, 2011, the Company owned 72% interest in Golden River Resources Corporation. On May 31, 2011, the Company sold ScoZinc Limited.
